InterSystems, a software vendor who specializes in database management, rapid application development, integration, and healthcare information systems, and Global Accelerated Ventures (GAV), an innovation aggregator that caters to financial services partners by finding new innovative talent, in a recent joint press release statement, on Friday, Feb. 8th 2019, announced a new innovation program especially crafted to meet the needs of startups in the areas of data analytics, Fintech, Health tech, and Logistics.
The new program aims at enabling startups with capabilities to develop software solutions built on InterSystems’ IRIS Data Platform, that are robust, ready for markets, and resonate with customer demands and requirements.
InterSystems, the company that backed some of the world’s most important applications, will provide a selected few startups, unrestricted access to the IRIS Data Platform. These selected few startups will also get the much-needed assistance for app development, access to partner channels, and most importantly the seed capital needed to scale up. While GAV will offer go-to-market assistance, which includes communications, research, and growth through its Centers of Excellence.
According to Carlos Nogueira, General Manager of InterSystems IRIS Data Platform, the company is extremely delighted to kick off the program in collaboration with GAV and the startup community. Adding further he said that the company is passionate about technology and innovation.
