APAC cloud services are most likely to hit $55.2 billion in 2022 at a CAGR of 27.7%. This movement shall be headed by an ‘insatiable’ trend of product launching, conducted by cloud providers, which will lead to the next wave of cloud services and technologies. This may include artificial intelligence, big data analytics, the blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT) as their manager platforms.

The statistics also reveal that Alibaba should be considered as the force which has to be reckoned. Now that Alibaba Cloud is betting big in the emerging markets such as India, Malaysia, and Indonesia it is also competing well with the highly established markets of Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and Australia, says Siow Meng Soh, a technology analyst at GlobalData. According to the ongoing migration of IT to the cloud, the telecom providers and IT, service providers have already initiated a cloud practice for helping customers in the migration workloads while implementing hybrid cloud to manage multi-cloud environments, expressed Soh. The providers always look for a partnership with top players like AWS and Microsoft Azure, for increasing the customer’s usage of public cloud services.

Keeping all these aspects in mind, it is not wrong to anticipate that in the near future the company will have to look into various means for broadening their partnerships to provide customers with a wider range of cloud services. Don’t forget to list Alibaba Cloud in the consideration, for sure.
