  • Quick switch adapter:To transfer messages, contacts, and photos from your present phone to a Pixel a wired setup.
  • Google Assistant:  This will pop up with a long-press of the home button. This feature is available with Allo if you want to try it now.
  • Pixel Launcher:As the name suggests it will only be available with a Pixel phone. Swiping up from the home screen will open up the app drawer and a search box for quick search apps.

  • Google Photos: For all photos, Pixel owners will get unlimited high-quality Google Photo Storage.
  • Smart Storage: Your phone will automatically remove original version of photos and videos when it is low on memory.
  • Sensor Hub processor with tightly integrated sensors (accel, gyro, mag) + connectivity (Wi-Fi, Cell, GPS)
  • Aesthetic changes:A new calendar and date icon, new wallpapers and pull-out to launch a Google search. And some innovative lock screen animation as well.
