The release includes bug fixes, a bunch of enhancements and the addition of Portrait Camera the feature that the company hyped only for its iPhone 7 Plus earlier. The background will be a little blurred out while the foreground will be in sharp focus creating a depth-of-field, barged the company for its iPhone 7 Plus that is integrated with a dual camera. Apple introduced the feature as a beta in the iOS 10.1. The move is made to collect data from users, excuse the initial results and in the process gradually improve the base software.


The company has also patched around 13 security vulnerabilities in the iOS 10.1 version. The September launch iOS 10 will run on the iPhone 5 and onwards with a few iPad models as well. Meanwhile, several non-security flaws and 16 vulnerabilities were been addressed by the macOS Sierra version 10.12.1. Some security flaws include Mail updating issues and compatibility improvements with the Microsoft Office. MacOS Sierra which runs on most of the mac systems starting 2009-10 and later arrived on the App Store on Sept. 20.
