BARANI DESIGN Technologies, a Slovakia (formerly Czechoslovakia) based meteorology sensors and weather station equipment manufacturer, in a recent press release statement, on Tuesday, Mar. 26th 2019, announced entering into a strategic partnership agreement with Comptus Inc., a Thornton, NH-based leading producer of environmental sensors and controls for wind energy applications.
The BARANI-Comptus partnership is expected to bring in the MeteoShield Professional in a much-awaited Made-in-USA version along with the MeteoHelix IoT Pro micro weather stations available in Assembled-in-USA LoRaWAN and Sigfox version with NB-IoT to follow.
Furthermore, the partnership will further make Comptus Inc. the USA-wide & global distributor and integrator of BARANI DESIGN anemometers, weather stations, and sensors. Additionally, BARANI DESIGN, taking its operations onto a global scale, will become a worldwide distributor of the A75-101 & A75-104 anemometer and A75-302 wind direction vane, the direct equivalent of the flagship NRG #40 anemometer and NRG #200 wind vane.
The partnership agreement is basically a technology sharing program, where both the companies with their joint effort will work on building a low-cost wireless precision wind measurement solution that fair and square complements the MeteoHelix IoT Pro wireless weather stations. Moreover, the jointly developed solution will be directly competing in the high- and middle-end markets in agricultural weather station applications.
