Bing Ads announced earlier this week about the general availability of Performance Insights, its native analytics and recommendation tool for recognizing anomalies and changes in ad performance. The tool, utilizing Machine Learning, evaluates users’ account performance data and that of their contenders identifying unexpected significant changes in performance.
Bing Ads will show a performance insight, indicated through a light bulb icon, with details on what happened and recommended actions advertisers can take. Campaign managers, from the pop-up, can access more details, assess explicit alters made to the account that led to the insight getting triggered. Bing Ad’s tool surfaces insights regarding everyday performance at the account level and for click and impression metrics. The insights, when obtainable, will appear in the performance charts in the UI.
As per said by Bing Ads engineering lead Dare Obasanjo, they have started implementing Machine Learning to their customer’s campaigns to comprehend their typical performance characteristics so that when a change seems out of the ordinary, users will see a performance insight notification which they can click on to see the Bing Ads’ root cause analysis of why that spike or dip happened. Even, users can remove insights at any time by only clicking on Dismiss option. Obasanjo’s statement came as in September when Bing Ads first have begun rolling out the feature, with other Artificial Intelligence-powered reporting features.
