Black Knight, Inc., a Jacksonville, Florida-based integrated software, data, and analytics provider to the real estate industry, in a recent press release statement, on Tuesday, Mar. 5th 2019, announced that the recently formed RMLS Alliance (comprising Capital Area REALTORS, the Peoria Area Association of REALTORS, the Egyptian Board of REALTORS and the Quad City Area REALTOR Association), LLC has selected Paragon as its multiple listing service (MLS) system. The area covered by the RMLS Alliance includes 50 percent (rough approximate) of the state of Illinois (IL) and portions of Iowa (IA). Post-merger, the four association alliance will serve an approximate 3,000 members and over two million customers.
Out of four associations in the RMLS Alliance, two are well aware of Paragon’s benefits, thus the new alliance chose to go with Black Knight’s comprehensive and configurable MLS system. Paragon, with its award-winning features, enables real estate professionals with easy management of businesses, allowing them to collaboratively work with clients via dynamic software available on desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
A new, comprehensive regional database is currently under development from the four individual systems. The new database will implement the RESO Data Dictionary standards, which are optimized with the needs of RMLS Alliance subscribers in mind. Paragon, with its unique Association Autonomy feature, allows each association to configure the system as per the needs of its members, which includes branding, customized home pages, calendars, reports, third-party integrations, and more, while still leveraging a common regional MLS system and database, with addition of a Commercial Information Exchange (CIE).
