With this expanded partnership, Cone Health offers Babyscripts invaluable clinical input, access to clinical staff and patient insight, in addition to a venue to test and authorize new products to augment the delivery of care.

With this collaboration, each organization will able to co-innovate new solutions within the Babyscripts platform without wasting time and money. Both companies leverage the unique strengths of each one to develop and offer cutting-edge solutions for prenatal and postpartum health. On this partnership, MD, Vice president, and Chief Clinical Transformation Officer at Cone Health, Kelly Leggett said that we both believe the power of technology can minimize maternal health complications and eventually eliminate them altogether. She further noted that this partnership leverages Babyscripts technology and our understanding of the needs of our patients and how to bring the two together. Apart from this partnership, both companies in the past have worked together to build a product which focuses particularly on expectant mothers who have a history of diabetes or have created gestational diabetes.

Moreover, Cone Health has also aided Babyscripts in developing a population health module, which is designed to manage pregnancy care within large employer risk-specific populations. Additionally, the two partners have several new modules in the pipeline. President, and co-founder of Babyscripts, Juan Pablo Segura pointed out that if we are going to move the needle on maternal outcomes, health tech innovators have to meaningfully partner with the provider community. Additionally, he said that true change is going to come from collaborative partnerships like this one between Babyscripts and Cone Health — in fact, already has. Leaning on the unique expertise that each partner brings to the table has helped us to concentrate our efforts on what really matters — saving lives.
