The Blackjack Pit Boss segment introduces an avionics box and computing node also called an edge processor that includes hosted autonomy software employing Artificial Intelligence which dynamically distributes computing dispersed among hundreds to thousands of nodes less with precision timing that enables low SWaP-C space processing hardware, embedded cyber security, cryptographic solutions, mission integration.
DARPA researchers want all industry proposals on artificial intelligence software to establish constellation and satellite autonomy that massively distributes computing, precision timing and high-assurance of cyber solutions with low-cost on-orbit processing hardware. So that they can give fully of their technical efforts for the development of US Military.
DARPA is highly interested in artificial intelligence software that can capitalize on multiple modality sensor webs so that they exploit space-based effective terminologies to move critical data quickly to platforms and units at the tactical edge.
Here the evolving ability to detect, identify, and track physical targets based on training data, tasking inputs, and learning, including the ability to hand-off target data to other satellites in space.
