With this acquisition of HealthMind, Discovery Health partners will get secondary code edit, provider audit, and data mining capabilities that will add to its leading portfolio of payment and revenue integrity solutions. Moreover, the acquisition brings an integrated software platform ReThink, which supports multiple payment precision programs on both a pre- and post-pay basis.

Formerly known as Datametrix, HealthMind is specializing in offering pre- and post-payment services that guarantee correct payment for both contracted and non-contracted providers using a continuous-looped platform with Dynamic Discovery. As part of the announcement, the ReThink platform, unlike most vendors’ siloed platforms, allows editing, clinical auditing, and data mining solutions to talk and share data, increasing efficiencies, productivity, and outcomes for health plans.
