About 350 retails stores in the US and Canada might be affected explained the company spokesperson. Payment card number, security code, expiration date and cardholder’s name are the details been compromised and the retailers are not disclosing exactly how many customers are been affected.

Payments made through online were not affected and only the cards used for the store payment were affected and the time period of this attack dated between 2nd January and 17th July by the retailer. In the long list of attacks which scanned the card details of Hotels, restaurants, and others this retailer is the latest. Mike Egeck said in a statement that the malware found during the investigation was the same that was used for the other attacks been enlisted in the recent past.
