EquipmentShare, a Columbia, Missouri-based construction solutions provider including rental, telematics, and equipment robotics, as per recent reports, has announced its participation in the Bauma 2019, the World’s leading construction machinery trade fair, to be held from Mon, Apr 8, 2019 to Sun, Apr 14, 2019, in Munich, Germany. The Missouri-based EquipmentShare, plans to seek European OEMs, contractors, and rental partners to adopt the company’s latest telematics and Internet of Things (IoT) solution –Track.
According to EquipmentShare, technology plays a critical role in fleet management, improving the equipment reliability to operate more safely and ultimately, improve productivity in construction to boost growth.
The company was founded five years ago by brothers William and Jabbok Schlacks and is currently amongst the fastest growing rental companies in the US constructions market. In a span of mere past 1 year, the company already has expanded its rental network from nine to 25 outlets.
According to reports, both brothers –William and Jabbok, who ran a contracting business for over 20 years in the US, were frustrated with equipment downtime problems. They then came up with the idea to come up with advanced telematics and IoT solution, offering contractors a rental service incorporating the same, along with the capability to attach these systems onto existing fleets. The company also markets its “Track” solution to OEMs and rental companies.
In addition to real-time fleet management, the “Track” solution also offers predictive maintenance and safety features which include operator behavior monitoring and certifications.
