Exponential-e, a London-based global provider of cloud services, as per recent reports this week, has announced entering into a partnership agreement with CTERA Networks, a New York, NY and Israel-based global provider of cloud storage solutions, to offer secure edge-to-cloud file services.
The said alliance is expected to benefit Exponential-e, which promises to offer unified data management, content collaboration, and continuous data protection to distributed organizations.
In a statement, Exponential-e stated, “The partnership opens new opportunities for global organizations to embark on their cloud transformation without compromising on performance or security.”
CTERA’s tech, when integrated with Exponential-e’s S4 Cloud Object Storage, will enable enterprises to “dramatically lower the cost of storage” with an in-hand scalable solution that provides local “hot” file access to users, while allowing to move other data to S4 buckets to provide an effective information lifecycle management (ILM).
“From a customer perspective, we established that working with CTERA enables us to support them in optimizing their total cost of ownership for data management and storage, whilst delivering a rich range of enhanced features to drive increased collaboration and enhanced data security and protection,” stated Jonathan Bridges, chief innovation officer at Exponential-e.
“We love seeing more managed service provider partners benefit from the business value they get from the CTERA Files service platform. Our promise for a secure cloud transformation stands together with Exponential-e’s mission to modernize the IT for their customers,” stated Michael Amselem, VP of sales, Europe at CTERA.
