Hughes Federal Credit Union, a Tucson, Arizona-based financial services institution, as per recent reports this week, has decided to go with Fiserv for its Architect solution, to offer a wide range of online, mobile and payments services for the Arizona-based Credit Union.
“In a competitive market and an era of increasing expectations, it is important that we offer a distinct set of digital banking and payments capabilities that sets us apart from other financial institutions,” states Rich Griesser, Vice President of Information Technology, Hughes Federal Credit Union.
As per a survey conducted by Fiserv, the majority (58%) of consumers, now prefer an online or mobile channel interaction with their primary financial institutions. Furthermore, in its statement the Arizona-based Hughes says it has chosen to make way with Architect, owing to its open framework and flexibility capabilities.
Hughes, maintaining control over its service offerings through an open framework platform that allows for integrating additional capabilities such as alerts, electronic bill payments, and person-to-person payments, plans on offering these services by utilizing the Turnkey Service for Zelle.
Named #1 Credit Union in Arizona, Hughes was established in Tucson in 1952 and presently caters to 128,000 members with $1.2 billion in assets.
