Google plans to makes its inbox disappear by March 2019 in view of advancement and improvement in technology. Google Inbox also approaches its fourth birthday, the Gmail-viewing alternative is set to be killed off in March 2019.
Matthew Izatt, Google product manager stated that, “Gmail Inbox after the launch of four years since 2014, we came to know a lot of things and updated the custom requirements as per the user needs regarding how to make email better-and collected popular Inbox experiences to improvise Gmail to help more than a billion people get more efficient experience in sending emails every day”.
“As we step into the future planning’s we must be more focused on an approach that will help us bring the best email experience to every user and in consideration to it, we’re planning to focus solely on Gmail and say goodbye to Inbox by Gmail at the end of March 2019.”
We are also planning Inbox to get available as a mobile app and as a web interface alternative to viewing Gmail accounts. Some of its features of the inbox like smart compose, nudges, and email snoozing will find their way back into Gmail.
