With integration with DrChrono’s EHR platform, providers can now utilize the HealthFeed module to provide patients medically authenticated health education contents and articles with using the mediums like emails and text messages that they utilize the most.

The HealthFeed module is a single window for providers to add a range of medically authenticated patient education content libraries, improve current patient education program as well as can save clinical time recognizing, administering and sending education content to patients. Moreover, providers can share edible, informative content which is aimed at engaging and empowering patients to become active participants in their care. Even, a medical professional can also track the received education resources for meaningful use of their patients through detailed analytics dashboards. The module also includes video and Spanish content and uses simple language through which patients can read and comprehend and will be able to access the patient view of the EHR.

DrChrono COO and Co-founder Daniel Kivatinos says that “Adding informative, educational content to our EHR is a priority for DrChrono, and HealthFeed has done an excellent job gathering medically validated content to share with practices.” According to him, “HealthFeed has also made it easy for providers to text and email these articles and videos to their patients, so patients don’t have to log into a portal and remember passwords to review it.  And as Meaningful Use requirements expect more details on patient education programs, the HealthFeed module has an effective way to track this for providers.  We are thrilled to add HealthFeed to our EHR platform.”
