Seed CX, a US-based institutional Cryptocurrency exchange, has teamed up with Singapore-based FinTech firm Hydra X to provide its trading services in Asia region. With this partnership, Seed CX will join the supported digital asset trading venues’ list available on the Hydra X’ Sigma trading platform, which is currently in public beta. As per the reports, the collaboration will enable institutional Sigma users to access Seed CX’s fiat crypto gateway. Additionally, the partnership will expand the institutional user base and asset offerings on Hydra X’s Sigma platform.
Founded in 2015, Seed CX is a licensed digital asset exchange for both spot market and U.S. Commodities and Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)-regulated derivatives to implement institutional trading and settlement. In January, the exchange introduced an on-chair wallet solution and spot trading solution, limited to institutional customers. According to a study report by Bitwise Asset Management, a crypto index fund provider argued that 95 percent of volume on unregulated exchanges appears to be fake or non-economic in nature.
