IoT.nxt, an IoT innovator headquartered in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa, as per recent reports, has entered into a collaboration with ADTRAN, a Huntsville, Alabama-based leading provider of telco networking equipment and internetworking products. The joint collaboration is aimed at helping carriers and enterprises all around the world to come up with innovative new services and solutions by combining various IoT device data streams into a single, easy-to-use platform.
Speaking on this context, ADTRAN’s senior vice-president of sales, John Neville, states that this exciting collaboration will allow for cloud-based innovations that will make way for new revenue opportunities and bring in operational savings to customers all around the world. “We can’t wait to see where this takes our customers,” Neville adds.
Nico Steyn, CEO of IoT.nxt, says this is a step forward in rolling out the company’s operations onto a global scale, especially in the US, which is also expected to drive IoT.nxt’s global implementation portfolio of its IoT technology and solutions. “We view this as validation of our differentiation and innovation as a technology agnostic IOT offering that can utilize legacy equipment,” Steyn adds.
Continuing, Steyn says, “Through the ADTRAN collaboration, we can create the synergy needed to capture and commercialize the growing volume of IOT data generated in any number of vertical markets across diverse systems and processes”.
Neville notes ADTRAN will now be able to provide enterprise and carrier customers with smart and streamlined management of IoT data that will make them make informed business decisions. “Carriers will also be able to better manage their physical and virtualized networks, as well as offer enhanced home and business services on one platform that manages all devices for a subscriber.”
