Award-winning South African-based Internet of things (IoT) technology company subsidiary IoT.nxt USA has appointed Jason Bradlee as its Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Americas.
Before joining IoT.nxt, Bradlee served as the Executive Vice-President (EVP) and Head of Security for Fujitsu Americas, and prior to that, he acted as Vice-President at Ericsson, North America. He has also served as an Industry Sales Leader at HP.
According to Nico Steyn, CEO, IoT.nxt, Jason’s client service experience and vast knowledge of the latest security trends and digital technology will help and guide customers to understand and navigate evolving IOT and security challenges. Companies face many challenges and Jason’s expertise will enable customers to harness digital transformation as a critical driver of success. This appointment will help drive the company’s US expansion and firmly establish its US operation.
IoT.nxt USA has already successfully secured a multimillion-dollar energy management project in the state of Florida, which uses the IoT.nxt platform technology and strategies to deliver energy optimization and reduce consumption. Bradlee will spearhead the American arm of the company, managing strategy, operations, direction, and the offering portfolio. Bradlee and the US team will also support go-to-market alignment with key partners across the US IoT industry.
While take-up of company’s technology in the American market has already surpassed their expectations, the company knew that to scale effectively and retain traction, it needed someone local on the ground with the necessary domain expertise. Bradlee, who earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire, an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and completed an executive programme in global business sponsored by AT&T with Penn State University, brings a wealth of experience and has extensive knowledge of IoT, security, system integration, consulting, and outsourcing.
