JMA Wireless, a mobile wireless connectivity solutions provider, headquartered in Liverpool, New York, will be exhibiting at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 event, to be held from Monday, Feb. 25th, 2019 to Thursday, Feb. 28th, 2019, at the Fira Gran Via, Fira Montjuïc, and La Farga L’Hospitalet in Barcelona, Spain, where the company will reportedly showcase its new complete ultra-wideband LTE (Long-Term Evolution) and 5G solutions architecture built around XRAN, TEKO, and PHAZR technologies.
The JMA Wireless PHAZR mmWave (Millimeter Wave) small cells are specifically designed for environments such as offices, airports, stadium suites, and other areas that can effectively utilize the 5G spectrum for advanced performance. By combining PHAZR mmWave small cells with JMA’s XRAN it is feasible to provide LTE/5G NSA (non-standalone) networks in-building/venue options. XRAN, also known as a virtualized LTE RAN implements JMA’s TEKO DAS or Cell Hub for RF (radio frequency) distribution.
According to Todd Landry, Corporate VP, Product and Market Strategy, JMA Wireless, its essential for new networks to support flexibility in frequency support and compactness for indoors and outdoors deployment scenarios, to become truly transformative. Unlike traditional network equipment, the technology must be based on software that delivers extreme agility and unique operations experience.
