Johnson Controls, a Cork (city), Ireland-based automotive parts manufacturer and producer of HVAC equipment for buildings, as per recent reports, has unveiled its latest PowerSeries Pro (by Tyco) at the ISC West (International Security Conference & Exposition) 2019 event, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, last week.
According to an official statement by Johnson Controls, the PowerSeries Pro is the first-ever commercial-grade security system that is capable of harnessing the long-range communication technology of PowerG and is specifically designed with large-scale installation requirements in mind.
The security system is reportedly the best out there in the market, offering the highest level of cyber protection features and encryption technology without a wired communication path. The PowerSeries Pro specifically designed for use in commercial businesses is capable of supporting up to 248 zones, which makes the security system perfectly suited for applications at warehouses, office buildings, factories, and healthcare facilities.
“In the past, we have had systems that support commercial applications, but PowerSeries Pro is our first commercial intrusion security panel that can handle large commercial installations while eliminating the need for wires on sensors or keypads,” explains Jennifer Doctor, senior director of product management, Tyco Security Solutions. “We are excited to provide this new product to the commercial sector, and hope the increase in zones, coupled with secure encryption, will provide end users with the flexibility and reliability they need.”
