The company just introduced the Phab2 Pro at the companies Tech World Conference. Even though it closes the distance between virtual 3-D and real world this is just the beginning. Phab2 Pro is based on Google’s Project Tango visual computing platform.

“It is important not to think of Phab2 Pro as an once-in-a-lifetime product, rather as a first step towards a long-term plan. The company is planning more devices in future,” said Jeff Meredith, VP and GM of android and chrome computing at Lenovo.

The Phab2 Pro is priced at $499 comes with a 6.4-inch screen, 2560 X 1440 resolution, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB storage and to power, this monster a 4050 mAh battery is fitted to it with an effort to bring the perception of everyday things.The Phab2Pro, users can measure distance, learn about objects in view, explore their creativity by rearranging the rooms in virtual reality and play AR (Augmented Reality) games. Lenovo is fascinated to grab opportunities to create VR (Virtual Reality) devices. These VR devices will be based on Google’s Daydream platform which is announced at the I/O conference in MAY and will be released later this year.

Lenovo the top PC maker in the world didn’t make it to the list of companies that are working on Daydream platform, but the company is eyeing at the new market. The company has already announced that it is building a series of AR & VR devices.
