According to the reports, the company plans to utilize the fresh capital to continue scaling its consumer brand in diagnostics, as it currently serves in the entire U.S., Canada, and Europe. The capital will also be used to fortify the development of the core technology platform and to expand manufacturing and logistical capabilities all over North America. The round was led by LTP with participation from existing investors Optum Ventures and Qiming Venture Partners USA.
Since inception in the year 2014, LetsGetChecked connecting customers to regulated laboratory testing to better manage and control their health. The company’s portfolio of testing option includes cancer screening, sexual health testing, wellness testing, fertility testing, genetic testing, and pharmacogenomic testing. For the testings, users can order in-state physician-approved laboratory tests through LetsGetChecked.com or partner retailers. Then anonymized tests are shipped from the company’s ISO accredited facility by next day delivery and individuals can complete and return the samples for rapid processing within two days.
Recently, LetsGetChecked has integrated with large reference labs and health systems and also establishing partnerships with a growing number of healthcare insurers for personalized screening and home testing procedures. The company has logistics partnerships with UPS, USPS, and FedEx for offering a seamless and convenient consumer experience with rapid turnarounds for testing outcomes.
