LG, in a recent statement, announced to showcase its new high-end range of soundbars at the Consumer Electronics Show –CES 2019, to be held on Jan. 8th to 11th 2019, at Las Vegas Convention Center.
The high-end product family consists of three models, namely: SL8YG, SL9YG, and SL10YG, which LG created in collaboration with Meridian Audio, an English manufacturer of high-performance, high-fidelity audio and video components and systems. As per LG the upcoming SL range of soundbars, are intended for home entertainment aficionados and tech enthusiasts. The company is yet to disclose the pricing details but, it’s likely the new SL range of soundbars will be anything but affordable.
The new high-end product range will also come with Meridian’s Bass & Space audio solution and the company’s Image Elevation tech, all this to offer an immersive and out of the world listening experience. As both companies put it, the soundbar range won’t be just delivering better audio but will be ennobling one’s home entertainment setup as a whole.
The soundbars will come with Google Assistant’s native support. Google’s artificial intelligence (AI) support for the soundbars, will basically elevate them to more powerful Google Home units, to be used as one’s smart home hub. The company claims that with the Google Assistant’s support integrated into the soundbar, will add the benefit of convenience.
