Following the Blackberry’s KEYone with the Blackberry’s iconic physical keyboard, once famous Nokia licensee HMD has announced a product from the past. The Nokia 3310 evoked the companies glory days. However, the 2017 Nokia 3310 is a lot modern than the original 3310. The 3310 was first introduced in the year 2000. Back then it became the instant favorite of all. Despite the announcement of the Nokia 3, Nokia 4 and the Nokia 6 towards the end of the event 3310 took the most attention. The old alphanumeric keyboard and the curvaceous design is what made it instant famous. The new 3310 is basically using the same user interface with themenu, selector and call receive and end buttons. However, the company has made it modern enough for the current audience. With a larger color screen, popping colors and the most iconic game snake in a new style. The colors available are matte blue, matte gray, bright yellow and glossy red.
The company claimed a battery life of 22 hours of talk time and 25 days of standby time, which will be a prime selling point. Nokia has decided a price of $52 (49 euros) for this handset. The phone will be available from the second quarter of 2017.
