The new division is focused on creating a digital healthcare delivery platform which connects a person’s whole healthcare journey and delivers a personalized experience through a wide-ranging virtual care location.
The digital health and engagement division will be spearheaded by Novant Health’s Senior VP and Chief digital health and engagement officer Dr. Hank Capps, and senior director of digital health and engagement Stephanie Landry. The new division team, under their headship, will be accountable for defining and operationalizing Novant Health’s digital health strategy together with the company’s ongoing digital transformation. Moreover, they will also be responsible for recognizing, assessing and integrating new technological breakthroughs into Novant Health’s overarching strategy for the delivery of remarkable care to every patient, in every dimension, every time, according to the reports. The digital health and engagement division builds off the company’s existing focus on digital health initiatives with more than 950,000 patients that linked to their caregivers through a personalized online experience. Recently, Novant Health launched a growing community of patients what the company calls Community Voice to assist the company to design their healthcare experiences through a series of brief, electronic surveys on various topics.
