Provident-Bank-picks-NCR-to-enhance-Digital-Experience-of-customers Provident Bank picks NCR to enhance Digital Experience of customersProvident Bank, a Jersey City, New Jersey-based oldest community bank in New Jersey, as per recent reports, has chosen NCR Corporation, an Atlanta, Georgia-based manufacturer of self-service kiosks, point-of-sale terminals, automated teller machines (ATMs), check processing systems, and barcode scanners, for its Digital Banking platform to improve the bank’s customer service experience.

With this new partnership, the New Jersey-based bank hopes to achieve enhanced capabilities and easy integration with core banking systems, along with a more intuitive design.

John Kamin, executive vice president and chief information officer of Provident Bank, describing the bank’s digital solutions as “critically important”, says, “Because your customers use these solutions throughout the day, brand loyalty can be won or lost based upon the customer experience provided. Provident Bank wants to provide our customers with an engaging, best-in-class experience that can help them successfully navigate their financial lives. With NCR Digital Banking, we are confident this goal will be achieved.”

Also, speaking on this context, Douglas Brown, senior vice president and general manager, digital banking at NCR, states, “Provident Bank has a well-thought-out strategy for how their digital solutions augment their branch network and provide additional benefits and functionality to benefit their customers.”

Furthermore, reports are that the NCR Digital Banking platform is currently being employed by five of the top ten mobile banking applications in the US.
