Emulate3D’s software, by utilizing exact simulation models to perk up systems planning and decision-making, followed by emulation trials that test the control system before installation, allows customers to virtually test machine and system designs before incurring manufacturing and automation costs and committing to a final design.
Rockwell Automation SVP Fran Wlodarczyk, Fran Wlodarczyk stated that his company is excited about the opportunities that Emulate3D’s software provides their customers. He also said that they will have the ability to get better their time to market and operational productivity through digital machine prototyping and virtual commissioning. It also marks another investment by Rockwell Automation to bring the Connected Enterprise to life. As offering industrial automation and information technology, Rockwell Automation will append Emulate3D’s technology to its digital design portfolio to deliver solutions to automotive, material handling, logistics, and other industrial applications. The company will market software as Emulate3D, as part of Rockwell Automation’s FactoryTalk DesignSuite. Global Sales and Marketing Director at Emulate3D, Ian McGregor noted that as a former Rockwell Automation Encompass partner, his company has set great working relationships with Rockwell Automation and its clients. He further added that Emulate3D is looking ahead to develop on those relationships under the company’s ownership.
