ADT, a Boca Raton, Florida-based leading provider of electronic security, fire protection, and other related alarm monitoring services in North America, recently announced a second-tier designation to reward and incentivize its most successful authorized dealers, thus offering an indirect way to these elite performers to market themselves.
The new tier designation — ADT Authorized Provider — is created solely for security dealers that meet specific terms and conditions and have outgrown themselves by reaching a significant milestone within the program.
ADT Authorized Providers must:
- Generate 50,000 purchased alarm accounts annually for consecutive two years in a row
- Must have minimum company annual revenue of $100 million
With this elite status, these dealers will enjoy benefits and privileges from ADT that go much beyond those of the standard authorized dealer. Although this new distinction is separate and materially different from the “ADT Authorized Premier Provider”, the new tier is crafted to incentivize all ADT dealers.
Under this new tier designation initiative, the first security dealer to reach the elite status of ADT Authorized Provider is SafeStreets USA, a prime dealer that operates from its main offices in Garner, North Carolina, and Kent, Washington.
Established by merging of three separate ADT dealers (Eversafe Security, Alarm Team, and First Detection) in 2011, SafeStreets is ADT’s most tenured and most respected Authorized Dealers. Later, in 2016, SafeStreets merged with Gaylord Security and ASC Security USA, covering more than 90% of the US population in over 39 states.
