At the upcoming Mobile World Congress, Samsung Electronics has teased Galaxy Tab S3, its latest iPad rival with the invitation for its press event. The invite for the February 26th (the day before the launch of the tradeshow) event includes a silhouette of the tablet with the company’s signature home button. A Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 powers supported by 4GB of RAM the 9.2-inch display-enabled device. The Tab S3 will have a 1.2 megapixel back camera and a 0.5-megapixel front camera. The device will run Android 7.0 out of the box. The Galaxy S3 is probably the successor to the Galaxy S2, that was launched in South Korea in August 2015. At the MWC the company has also confirmed a teaser for the upcoming Galaxy S8 smartphone, however, the device will not be released officially.
Features of the new smartphone rumored to come in 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch with both the edge design models will be included in the video. The company has pledged new safety measures with the launch of the new model as they have been in a recent debacle of the Note 7 said that the company in a press conference. Despite the setback of the Note 7 semiconductors helped the company recover from the fiasco.
