With this acquisition, Syntax Systems will extend their capabilities by combining EmeraldCube’s software solutions that include EmeraldPrism, FraudID, EnCrypto, and EmeraldVision.

EmeraldCube Solutions is an Oracle partner, providing managed services for JD Edwards applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other platforms. Syntax said that with the addition of EmeraldCloud, an end-to-end business application deployment and management platform based on Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) public Cloud, it is now better positioned to aid its customers and prospects with their journey to the Cloud ecosystem such as public, private, and Hybrid Cloud. Syntax Systems delivers security and automation for JD Edwards clients, whether hosted on Amazon Web Services or on Syntax’s Enterprise Private Cloud. This EmeraldCube Solutions acquisition intensifies Syntax’s offerings that involve 24/7 managed services for the Syntax enterprise

CEO of Syntax, Christian Primeau pointed out that his company wanted to assist their customers with their journey to the Cloud while boosting the company’s capabilities for the JD Edwards and Oracle ecosystem in general. The company is very excited to collaborate with EmeraldCube Solutions because they understand the importance of innovation that contributes to customers’ success and have a long history with a public cloud offering. Additionally, Primeau said that the company will benefit from their expertise and a vast pool of talent. Syntax System is a portfolio company of a Montreal-based private equity firm, Novacap TMT IV that also offered the equity financing for the transaction.
