TBCASoft Inc, a U.S.-based innovative Blockchain technology developer, in conjunction with SoftBank, has announced the launch of a Blockchain-based Identification & Authentication Working Group under the Carrier Blockchain Study Group (CBSG), the global telecom Blockchain consortium.
On this take, TBCASoft has developed a new foundation application framework, named Cross-Carrier Identification System (CCIS), which will focus on allowing identification and authentication services. Both tech companies are leading this Working Group under the CBSG Consortium and will work together with CBSG Consortium members globally. Currently, most identification systems depend on a centralized database that could be dominated by a minority group. However, users of those services need to trust one centralized authority to offer accurate identification and authentication procedures. CCIS, compared to centralized services, offers a solution based on Blockchain technology operated by independent CBSG carrier members under a CCIS Cross-Carrier Consensus with carrier-grade reliability. CCIS utilizes Zero Knowledge Proof cryptography and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), which allows issuing, storing and validating a user’s identification without having to expose private detailed information that the user may not want or need to share.
It provides individuals autonomy from making several accounts and remembering countless passwords to secure their personal information from identity thefts by utilizing TBCASoft’s Cross-Carrier Blockchain Technology and telecom carriers’ highly secured data centers. Thus, businesses and individuals, through CCIS, can share and validate encrypted digital identities without unveiling classified or private information. TBCASoft Founder and CEO, Ling Wu said that CCIS, after the success of the Cross-Carrier-Payment System, is another significant foundation application framework where TBCASoft has been developing for CBSG Consortium members. The U.S.-based innovative Blockchain technology developer is committed to working with telecom carriers to offer inclusive and cost-effective identification and transaction services based on Blockchain for companies and individuals worldwide.
