The leading consumer electronics company, TCL on Tuesday, debuted its new range of Artificial Intelligence-powered 8K TVs, with the flagship TCL X10 QLED 8K TV and 8-series flagship, company’s first QLED 8K TV, at CES 2019 for the US marketplace. In addition, the company announced that it has joined the 8K Associations as a founding member and introduced its newest branded platform, named TCL AI-IN, for AI solutions.
In this TCL’s latest branded AI platform, all of its AI-enabled products will be grouped, and effectively incorporate its smart tech partners like Roku, Android TVTM, and Amazon Alexa. TCL, through this platform, is developing an intelligent ecosystem that offers clients a simple, personalized life experience. Under the TCL AI-IN branded platform, the major features of the TCL X10 QLED 8K TV include- 8K display technology with a resolution of 7,680 x 4,320 (33.2 megapixels), quadrupling the total number of pixels of a 4K TV and offering detailed images that are closer to real life in clarity; Ultra-contrast control zones solution; Quantum Dot display technology supports a wide color gamut display, approaching 100% of the DCI-P3 color space coverage; and Android TV with the Google Assistant built-in.
It also comprises, Theater-level sound-bar from Onkyo and Dolby Atmos(R) audio technology; A simplistic design, just 14.5mm at its thinnest point, making it one of the thinnest 75-inch direct backlight products in the industry, lessening optical distance to 4mm; and Full-view design. The TCL’s flagship QLED 8K TV from 8-Series for the US market will be available in 2019. Though, product specifications and sizes vary in terms of regions.
