The study found that 64 percent of organizations are aimed to invest capital on Blockchain solutions to advance their operations, while just 46 percent are seemed ready to implement the technology.

The report further revealed that while 61 percent of organizations that are already exploring Blockchain technology, only 28 percent have selected a Blockchain provider. However, the greater parts of decision-makers are still investigating the technology and comparing vendors, and have not yet clear their stand on Blockchain service. CTO Latin America at Globant, Diego Tartara said that for every organization, Blockchain deployment is distinct, so it is vital for decision-makers to have a unified idea of what their integration will look like. The technology typically requires a shift in paradigm to adopt it, so sharing core objectives for the technology is the key for effective Blockchain integration. Globant reportedly surveyed 679 senior-level decision makers employed in the fields of marketing, IT and operations in the United States during the first quarter of 2018. Keeping the same line, a survey by TD Bank, earlier this month, illustrated that 90 percent of treasury and finance professionals considered that Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) will optimistically have an effect on the payment industry. On the other side, only 14 percent of the respondents reported that their organization has training strategies for technology.

On the same take, last year, Global Blockchain Business Council survey revealed that 63 percent of the respondents deemed that senior business executives have a poor understanding regarding Blockchain technology. While 30 percent of respondents reported that their knowledge about the emerging technology as average, and rest of the 7 percent said their senior executive’s understanding of blockchain as good.
