Kubernetes is the now trending buzzword in the Cloud nowadays. TriggerMesh has now come out with a serverless management platform that runs on top of the Kubernetes-based Knative platform allowing its developers to automate the deployment and management of serverless and functions-as-a-service (FaaS) cloud platforms.
Basically, the TriggerMesh platform runs with a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model where developers can manage their serverless and FaaS deployments across different infrastructure environments. This will define the exact runtime used for the deployment and then trigger events across different cloud platforms, accordingly. FaaS divides microservices into smaller, individual functions where Serverless will take specific functions from the initial ones and host them on a cloud platform. This platform will later provide cloud service based on Knative, Istio, and Kubernetes. The deployed functions can be later hosted on GitHub, BitBucket, and GitLab.
The platform will expand and control serverless deployments in the market, uniquely, says Sebastien Goasgue, co-Founder of TriggerMesh. The Company is also in partnership with some other companies for managing platforms for serverless deployments such as Stackery, Platform9, and Serverless Inc.
