VMWare & AWS Announced Hybrid Cloud Service In Partnership

hybrid-cloud VMWare & AWS Announced Hybrid Cloud Service In PartnershipA strategic partnership was planned between AWS (Amazon Web Service) and VMWare starting a new hybrid cloud service on Thursday. These two were on a clear collision course on another once. The new service was dubbed VMWare Cloud on AWS, which will allow clients to run applications across private, hybrid and public cloud environments. The AWS cloud will be allowing running VSAN, NSX and vSphere from VMWare. These services will be optimized to run on bare metal, dedicated AWS infrastructure made precisely for these services. Pat Gelsinger CEO at VMWare said at San Francisco event, alongside AWS CEO Andy Jassy, bringing together the vibrant suppleness combined with enterprise SDDC in a single solution.

Using the VMWare software and infrastructure, they previously trust on or moving to AWS are the only binary options available for the clients prior to this partnership. They want to be able to influence the infrastructure and software tools they have used on premise as more and more enterprises are moving to the cloud. Users are unwilling to buy more hardware yet use that same software on premise as on AWS and in the cloud. In early 2017 invite-only beta are expected though as of now the VMWare cloud is in a preview stage.
