The round was led by Altos Ventures, along with existing investors, Thrive Capital, Red Swan Ventures, and Asset Management Ventures. With this funding round, the company’s total funding value has reached to USD30 million to date.

Based in San Francisco, California, Welkin Health began its services as a coaching app to support people with diabetes and later entered into patient management software after realizing that there wasn’t a great apparatus that could reinforce the relationships between healthcare professionals and patients. Welkin Health CEO and Co-founder Chase Hensel said that “Over the past two years, we’ve transformed how customers use our platform.” According to him, “Our APIs and Workshop tool enables customers to launch quickly, to flexibly plug us into their tech stack, and to make changes to their care programs over time. We’re excited to work with Altos to continue our mission of helping health care organizations create meaningful patient relationships at scale.”
