(Zoomlion), a high-end equipment manufacturing enterprise that integrates engineering machinery, agricultural machinery and financial services, in an official statement on Dec. 18th 2018, announced the launch of ZValley OS –an Industrial IoT platform.

The new platform will benefit traditional companies and organizations especially in agriculture, manufacturing, smart city, and fin-tech industries by harnessing the power of emerging digital technologies –i.e. cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), big data, artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain.

The platform is open and secure, provides a seamless interface. To date, it has connected over 200,000 equipment assets and gathered over 9,000 kinds of real-time data. The platform provides Industrial Internet services, including big data analysis, equipment connection, service apps and more to financial institutions, government regulators, manufacturers, users, and maintenance service providers.

According to Wang Xiaodong, CEO of ZValley, the new platform further enhances Zoomlion’s leading edge in the field of Industrial Internet. The platform will put the company’s transformation on an accelerated path and will help it upgrade from an equipment manufacturer to manufacturing service provider.

ZValley was established by Zoomlion with prime focus on driving forward the 4.0 revolution by offering its guidance and support to startups and small to medium organizations, to up their game, by upgrading their manufacturing. Zoomlion, in 2014 in an attempt to optimize its product portfolio, introduced a product 4.0 strategy. The company follows a strategy of “products on the internet, data on the cloud, market in the mobile device,” which employs IoT, big data, and mobile technology to transform the traditional manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing, products, and services.
