Datapipe Datapipe Honored with Two Stevie Awards in 2015 American Business AwardsDatapipe, a global leader in managed hybrid IT solutions for the enterprise, was presented with two Stevie® Awards today; one for Technical Innovation of the Year and the second for Company of the Year. This is Datapipe’s first year to win a Stevie® Award for Technical Innovation of the Year and second consecutive year to win in the Company of the Year category.

Datapipe was recognized with Technical Innovation of the Year at an organization with up to 1,000 employees for its development of Datapipe’s Access Control Model for AWS (DACMA). DACMA is an AWS best practice that brings a deeper level of trust and security specifically focused on protecting and safeguarding an enterprise’s virtual infrastructure. DACMA requires no extra steps or oversight once it is set up and once implemented, DACMA dramatically reduces the risk of a disruption of service or data breach due to unauthorized access or activity of an AWS environment by either Datapipe or the client.

Innovations like DACMA coupled with Datapipe’s award winning customer service is what singled out Datapipe for the Company of the Year award. Datapipe has years of proven experience and ability to anticipate the needs of clients and exceed their expectations. Datapipe develops a deep understanding of its clients’ business challenges and objectives and takes a personal interest in helping them achieve their goals.

“The Stevie Awards have become a proud tradition at Datapipe,” said Richard Dolan, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Datapipe. “Each year since our first Stevie recognition in 2009, we have pushed the envelope of innovation and gone above and beyond our clients’ expectations. We are honored to have these efforts recognized by the American Business Awards.”

“We are extremely impressed with the quality of the entries we received this year. The competition was intense and every organization that won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “To those outstanding individuals and organizations that received Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Awards, the judges and I are honored to celebrate your many accomplishments. You are setting a high standard for professionals nationwide.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. More than 200 executives worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

In addition to Datapipe’s Technical Innovation of the Year and Company of the Year awards, the company was also honored with a Stevie Award for the seventh consecutive year in the Customer Service Department of the Year category in June of this year.
